Assistant Video Producer

Boathouse is currently looking for an Assistant Producer to work in partnership with Producers, Creative Teams, Account Managers, and Finance. The Assistant Producer is responsible for assisting broadcast and content teams with the day-to-day business, production, reviews and asset management associated with broadcast, art buying and content production.

You can:

  • Assist Producers in all aspects of production (prep, shoots, post-production and closing out jobs)

  • Keep track of all music and stock footage being used on projects

  • Assist in research for production, creative and new business

  • Prepare production and editorial specifications

  • Review all bids from applicable vendors with input from production

  • Assist in preparing production estimates and SOWs

  • Assist in creating production schedules and project timelines

  • Issue all production contracts and related POs

  • Process invoices and payments for various vendors and talent

  • Cover sessions, when necessary

  • Work with accounting from pre-bill through job close-outs

  • Assign and track Ad-Id codes

  • Prepare all final cast reports

  • Traffic and report on all broadcast, print and content usage

  • Track and file all final assets and elements

 You have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in agency or production, or equivalent experience in video production

  • Familiar with the workflow of TV, radio, photography and content production

  • Strong communication, organization, and negotiating skills

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to keep projects on schedule and work well under pressure

  • Familiarity with production process, camera equipment, video editing software, Photoshop and After Effects
