Media Supervisor (Mid-level)

Boathouse is looking for a highly motivated, analytically-driven individual with at least 4-6 years of experience to join our growing Media team. In this mid-level position, the ideal candidate would be qualified to: 

  • Manage multiple work streams of client business, serving as the primary media contact for driving integrated media solutions across multiple clients
  • Develop smart, insight-driven strategy and well-articulated media plans to meet clients’ marketing objectives, as well as overseeing the subsequent negotiation, implementation and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with account, creative and analytics teams to ensure that media plans/creative/measurement work are strategically aligned, client needs are met and quality levels are upheld
  • Drive innovation by demonstrating a fluency in the evolving media landscape and apply new ways of thinking to our clients’ business
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding in media planning fundamentals (target development, competitive, reach/frequency, etc.) across all media channels, including digital
  • Manage preparation, development, execution, and stewardship of media plans for specific clients, and accountable for supporting the buying team and ensuring plans are executed in line with client expectations and Bh processes
  • Ability to balance, prioritize and manage timelines associated with multiple, concurrent projects
  • Responsible for articulating, developing and presenting client deliverables (strategic decks, flowcharts, etc.) 
  • Manage budgets across all channels
  • Partner with discipline leads and Analytics team on a regular basis to understand and optimize campaign performance
  • Ensure timelines are met to launch campaigns
  • Meet with vendor sales representatives to obtain information about their products
  • Lead set up of vendor connections including: sit-down meetings, phone calls, and webinars
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and assist in knowledge sharing across the team and agency
  • Lead in creation of vendor and opportunity POVs
  • May be responsible for planning, negotiating and executing print and outdoor buys
