Paid Search Specialist (Entry Level)

Boathouse is looking for a highly motivated, detail-driven individual to join the paid search team. The Paid Search Specialist will be responsible for delivering on the following day‐to‐day responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the strategy development and execution of B2C and B2B paid search campaigns
  • Coordinate the implementation of campaigns to ensure all timeframes and budgets are adhered to
  • Traffic and QA campaigns
  • Track pacing and paid search budgets  for assigned client programs
  • Assist in paid search optimization activities including ad text and keyword updates, bid adjustments, etc
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions
  • Collaborate with the analytics team to review and analyze results to inform reports for clients that showcase the value/impact of performance-based program
  • Perform competitive analyses around the current search landscape
  • Manage monthly invoicing and billing  

Key Competencies

  • 1+ years of combined search experience, preferably in an Agency environment
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to consistently perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment as an individual on a team
  • Extremely organized with high attention to detail
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Must be an excellent cultural fit – high levels of integrity, autonomy and self-motivation
  • Expresses oneself (in writing and verbally) clearly, concisely, and thoroughly;
  • Demonstrated interest in keeping up with emerging technologies and the digital marketing;
  • Knowledge of Google AdWords, DoubleClick Search and DCM a plus
