John Connors
Founder/CEO

John is the founder and president of Boathouse. John grew up in the advertising business, starting his career at Hill Holliday. John went on to serve as CEO of Zentropy Partners, an internet services business, and served as a part of the McCann World Group Management team—at the time the largest agency in the world. In 2001, he founded Boathouse. John received a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania, and spent 12 weeks at a transformative executive education boot camp at Harvard Business School.


Chris Boland
Founder/CFO

Chris is CFO of Boathouse. He co-founded Boathouse with John in 2001. He worked in banking at Wells Fargo and consulting at IBM prior to teaming up with John at Hill Holliday and Zentropy Partners. Chris received a BS in Economics from Penn/Wharton and an MBA from Northwestern/Kellogg.


Karen Baker
Founder/President Boathouse D.C.

Bringing more than 25 years of marketing and strategy expertise, Karen works with the C-suite to coordinate internal strategy, marketing, branding, and national advertising campaigns. Karen has recently led several client projects for National Park Service Fort Dupont Summer Concert Series, Minority Business Development Agency and Industrial Banks’ and Think Local First DC.


Peter Prodromou

Peter Prodromou
Founder/President Boathouse Palo Alto

Peter brings three decades of communications, marketing and public policy experience to his role. His work include helping found, grow and later serve as CEO of Racepoint Global, where he designed a data-informed, integrated marketing offer serving clients in the US, Europe, Asia and Africa. He was later CEO of an interactive experience firm, before joining Boathouse. He has worked with founders, CEOs, CCOs and CMOs of the world's largest corporations, startups, governments and heads of state. A graduate of Boston University, he serves on several non-profit boards.
